  I chose a mani-pedi for 15 kd. Thought it would be something exclusive for such a high price. But it was so very basic. I get a better treatment for much a lesser price. The ladies rushed through the whole treatment. Waste of my time and money.

  Disappointment. I had been to the salon a few weeks back to have a regular pedi and liked the location. So I decided to book a gel mani and pedi a few weeks later. The therapist assigned to me asked me which colour I wanted. I asked her to show me the colours available. The first wheel she took out was for chrome colours. I asked the receptionist who was also there the price, she told me 27 KD, I asked her twice if that was for both my feet and hands she said yes (which is a decent price for chrome). So the manicurist took almost 1 1/2 h to do my mani alone, she did overall an ok job, two fingers a little sloppy but didn't want to say anything as was taking so long. So I pointed to the black i had under the chrome and said I would do just the black for my feet. After spending 30 mins cleaning my feet she starts putting the first coat on my toes and then the black, so I asked her when we would be putting them in the machine. So she's like ''oh this is just regular nail polish'', I'm like ''why is it not gel when I put gel on my hands and booked a gel mani and pedi'', so those had to be redone. Almost 3 hours in the receptionist comes up to me with KNet machine and tells me it's 40 KDs. At this point I had put only regular gel on my feet and had been told 27 KD for chrome at the beginning. So I ask her how the price went up after I didn't even have chrome on my feet. She tells me that was just for the chrome not for the full treatment (i.e. cleaning my feet and shaping them, etc). I asked her why she hadn't been clear with me from the start when I booked a mani-pedi gelish and I asked her for the prices for a mani pedi chrome when she was next to me and even asked her twice. She just repeated ''these are our prices madam'', which I found condescending keeping in mind I had asked twice for clarity on the prices. Furthermore, the client next to me was also complaining that she would not come back (but for different) reasons. I was willing to deal with the mani - pedi taking 3 hours; but the receptionist's reaction was really insulting.
